Kids triathlon Club: This Is The Place To Run Kids Triathlon Course
The Kids Triathalon Club, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, has started running its own triathlon race, which will be held this weekend.
The kids triathalon is an eight-kilometre (five-mile) course that is designed to teach children about running.
The course was first created by the kids triathon club in 2013 and is run every Friday in Halifax.
The race, run in a 3.8 kilometre (2.3 mile) loop, will begin on the banks of the Danforth River at the end of July.
The event will take place on the Saturday before Memorial Day weekend.
“We want kids to be able to go, ” said co-founder and president of Kids Triathon Club, Jessica Hochschild.
“They can go, ‘Wow, I’ve never done this before.
Hochshelpers says that the Kids triathalons run for four to six months and that they aim to be a “social event for kids to come together and enjoy each other’s company.” “
Kids Triathaalon is part of the Kids Trias, an initiative run by Halifax’s Kids Triadics Club, the Halifax Triathlon Association, and the Nova Scotia Running Club.
