When Nike Kids Club kicks off in NYC, it’ll have to deal with a new city rule
The Nike Kids club is about to kick off in New York City, but its first day in the city is a bit of a disappointment.
It’s not as big as you’d expect, according to the official website.
Nike’s official launch will take place on April 1 at 5:30pm ET and will be streamed live on the NikeKidsClub.com YouTube channel.
The NikeKids Club is a new group of brands that lets kids wear Nike gear.
In the group’s first week, they’ve seen their number of members grow from 7,000 to 50,000.
For its first three days, the Nike Kids clubs were open to anyone 18 and older, but they were soon made inclusive of children under the age of 12.
According to the site, the kids clubs have received some big cheers from New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, who has spoken about how much he loves the new organization.
“We have a lot of fun, I love it.
I think it’s a great addition,” he said.
De Blasio has said that his children are a big part of the brand’s success.
He even invited the Nike kids to a Nike event at Madison Square Garden in March, saying they had “a blast.”
“I’m thrilled for all the children,” de Blasio said.
“They’re the ones that make this brand successful.”
De Blasio also said he’s proud to be the first Mayor to make the Nike KidClub available to all kids.
At the Nike event, de Blasio mentioned that the company had been able to grow their membership by 50% in the past year.
As of March, Nike Kids Clubs have reached 2.6 million members.
There are currently 4,928 members of the Nikekidsclub.com website, according the company.
